We are simply a hobby (not a business) the love of these cats and our efforts to advance the Breed represent a Passion. We are responsible breeders, not "Back Yard Breeders".
We are registered with The International Cat Association (TICA), The Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) and The Maine Coon Breeders & Fanciers Association (MCBFA).
We have successfully shown our kittens in CFA (Cat Fanciers Association) and The International Cat Association (TICA) to Grand Champions, Supreme Grand Champions, Regional Winners, International Winners and Lifetime Achievement Winners, and to Grand Premier in The Cat Fanciers Association, (CFA).
We began our breeding program in 2008.

As new methods of testing become available, they will be incorporated into our breeding program. No breeder can guarantee that a cat will not develop heart disease, but we are comfortable knowing that our cats have normal healthy hearts.

BEFORE YOU ADOPT- THINGS TO CONSIDER:
THE PARENTS:
Does the website show full names of the parents and registered cattery name? Do they have information on a public site that is variable? Are there photos of their cats including a link for their pedigree? Does the website feature a "lock?" Have the cats been genetically tested for HCM, and PK Deficiency? Is there verification of all genetic tests done?
THE SCAMMERS:
The scammers are out and ready to take your money. Why? Because there are always families that are looking for that special kitten. They will communicate with you via text and email and very rarely on phone call. They will promise you a beautiful Maine Coon kitten, and request payment via Wells Fargo. Unfortunately, the kitten you've just sent payment for may not exist.
THE BREEDER:
When selecting a breeder make sure that they are legitimate reputable breeders. If you see a site saying they have "kittens available, Buy Now!" Be careful. If they show a photo of a kitten that is available and under 12 weeks old, Be careful. Reputable breeders do not let kittens leave for their new homes until they are at least 12 weeks old and will never say Buy Now!
How old are their kittens when leaving for their new homes? Kittens should NEVER be allowed to leave for their new homes before 12 weeks of age. Should be healthy and free of parasites when leaving and should be micro chipped.
Does the breeder have a home that welcomes new owners to visit their kittens and the parents? Have a home that is clean. Should care that their kittens will be placed only in approved homes and given a lifetime of love? Fed high quality food and receive regular vet care. Provide you with a proper pedigree and TICA registration papers (once the kittens have been neutered/spayed.) Provide "starter food kits" and a list of all of the food that the kitten had been eating.
We work exclusively with ABSCatz, MTNest and Paleeni in the United States and Madinina in France and Snowfield Coon Cattery in China.
